Parliamentary vote ruling

Given Nigel Farage’s Trump-esque warning a month prior to the referendum that a 52-48 victory for Remain would be ‘unfinished business’, his new threat of a public backlash following Thursday’s High Court ruling should be universally cited together with a peal of canned laughter.

But, if an electoral majority is all that’s needed to validate a society’s caprices, upon what other policies should an outvoted minority just ‘admit defeat’? Death by stoning?

Farage’s inverted portentous threat of ‘unfinished business’ is, in fact, his only contribution to the campaign rhetoric that withstands logical analysis.
